Released in 1976 by the USDA, Comet was used for its high Alpha acids but fazed out after just a few short years due to newer high Alpha hops. Although, it has had a recent comeback due to it's "Citrus Like" flavors when used as a late addition. Comet also features a Wild-American aroma, with fresh grassy smells, citrus peal flavors and a nice dank hoppyness. It is a dual purpose hop and can be used to bitter a brew or add layers of flavor and aroma to the end. Alpha Acid 8 - 11% Beta Acid 4 - 5% Co-humulone 34 - 37% Rhizomes will arrive on the 1st of March.
